Amazed. Five minutes in the Hong Kong airport and it was obvious how different this city would be. It has all the character of an Asian city and some of the signs of a city that developed just a tad too quickly, but hey does shit work there.
I spent my first evening wandering around the Causeway Bay neighborhood near my hostel before meeting Ali for drinks at Lily & Bloom in LKF. I got unbelievably turned around taking the wrong MTR exit (but right station, confusing right?).

Morning two I got my butt out of bed and adventured over to Sheung Wan for some coffee at Cafe Deadend (s/o to Google for the dope suggestion). I wasted away my morning reading and sippin on my coffee before accidentally meandering back to the MTR stop. Then I made my way to Mong Kok and Kowloon to explore the craziness of Ladies Market and find some bubble tea - neither of which turned out quite as expected. Turns out taro milk tea was milk tea with CHUNKS of taro root all up in it. Nasty.
Dragon's Back: Day three ended up consisting of an accidental 3 hour hike through Dragon's Back to Big Wave Bay. We took a wrong turn or two along the way, but the amazing views were well worth the detour.

Hong Kong, thanks for being a case study on how things like public transportation and restaurants can make a city livable - I pinky promise I'll be back soon.
